Since Ember Fund is built on a Hybrid Non-Custodial system, we do not store username or password data on our end, and cannot set password resets ourselves. When you first create your account, we highly encourage users to set up password recovery, as it's the only way to restore an account.
If you did indeed set up password recovery, then you would have sent yourself an email with a recovery link (the subject of the email is "Ember Recovery Link") when you first set up the feature. I'd recommend scrolling back or searching in your inbox and clicking on this link to start the recovery process. There's a small hint in this email for your username as well.
Otherwise, if you are on your original device, you should also see a dropdown showing past usernames on the Login page. Once you click on your username you should get redirected to Touch/Face ID login and you'll be all set.
Please note: We do not store any username/password and do not have any access to your crypto/account on our end - make sure you have written your credentials somewhere safe.
Getting Started
Yes! The Ember app is available in most countries around the world.
Depositing
Ember portfolios are purchased using Bitcoin (BTC). You can link your bank account, credit card, Apple Pay, or Coinbase account or deposit BTC from an external wallet of your choice to fund a portfolio.
Withdrawing
To withdraw from your portfolio, simply tap the “Sell Portfolio” button on the Settings page in the app. Your portfolio will be sold into Bitcoin that goes directly to your Ember wallet. From there, you can send your Bitcoin to any exchange to cash out for fiat currency.
