A Year in Review

Hi everyone,

I wanted to take a moment to thank you for being a part of the Ember community. Whether you are one of our 100K+ users (20k daily active users!), investor or discord member, we really appreciate you being here.

2021 was an incredible year for us. This year we:

Launched multiple cutting edge products

– Including 2 indexes, one with broad based exposure to DeFi and another to the Metaverse in addition to a programmatically rebalanced yield portfolio. We also launched the industry's first BTC mining rewards program.

Grew the team 4x

– We’ve recruited an amazing team, that held leadership positions at Adobe, Dave App, Lehman, Acorns, Wells Fargo and more.

Partnered with Evite

– Evite has 100M+ users and 300M reach in the US. This means they reach almost every household in America and now allow users to gift an Ember portfolio to all of their users.

Launched a B2B division

– We’ve built an infrastructure that other investment managers are now using to productize their portfolios and are seeing great traction on it.

Raised venture capital

– We closed $5.3M from top tier investors including Anthos (backed Honey, a $4B exit to Paypal), Uncorrelated Ventures, Calm Ventures, the CTO of Tiktok and many others. This has allowed us to almost triple our engineering team and build product even faster for you.

We continue to be deeply committed to you all. I hope we’ve proven this through our actions: from the pace in which we build products, respond on customer support and continue to innovate.

We’re absolutely thrilled, humbled and honored for the opportunity to build the future of our financial infrastructure with you all, so thank you all… again.
