AMC movie theaters officially confirmed last week that they now accept select cryptos on their website! Currently, they support some of the most popular cryptos, including: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin. The investment team likes to think of this as yet another sign of growing crypto adoption as a medium of exchange.
“As promised, many new ways NOW to pay online at AMC. We proudly now accept: drumroll, please… Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin. Also Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal. Incredibly, they already account for 14% of our total online transactions! Dogecoin next,” Adam Aron, CEO of AMC.
