This week, it was announced that the Biden Administration is preparing an executive order to regulate the crypto industry as a matter of national security as early as February.

The order aims to achieve the following:  

Normalize crypto regulations with other countries

Direct agencies to assess risks and opportunities with crypto

Look at details of a CBDC

Examine the impact of crypto on financial stability
