This week in a House Financial Services Committee meeting, U.S. Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell said he does not intend to ban cryptocurrencies, but said stablecoins need greater regulatory oversight. These comments should calm some of the market's worries around increasing regulation in the United States.
