Yesterday, the FDIC Chairman stated that regulators are looking at how US banks could hold bitcoin. The chairman stated, "If we don't bring this activity inside the banks, it is going to develop outside of the banks. ... The federal regulators won't be able to regulate it."
This just another example of how powerful Bitcoin is, and how the US banking system is thinking about the crypto space.
