This week, the President of El Salvador confirmed that the country has begun mining Bitcoin with volcano-powered energy. With the carbon footprint of Bitcoin being a narrative in recent months, this is one of many clean methods in the push towards carbon neutrality in the crypto space. The president confirmed that mining in this way is clean and renewable, with zero emissions.
