Square Releases White Paper

On Friday, Square launched a new whitepaper detailing a protocol for a decentralized Bitcoin exchange. In the Abstract, Square wrote: "The tbDEX protocol facilitates decentralized networks of exchange between assets by providing a framework for establishing social trust, utilizing decentralized identity (DID) and verifiable credentials (VCs) to establish the provenance of identity in the real world". Jack Dorsey on Twitter teased the company was working on this project a few months ago, and the whitepaper outlines their work.
