Trading Will Be Temporarily Paused for ETH Merge (Sept 13th)

In preparation for the ETH 2.0 merge scheduled for September 13th, the team just wanted to provide a quick update on how Ember will be handling the merge. 

Timeline:

Transactions will be paused approximately 3 hours prior to the start of the merge on September 13th. 

How does this affect you?

Your crypto will remain safe & secure on Ember, there is no action needed prior to or after the event. However, during the merge, Ember will temporarily pause all transactions until the merge is completed & it’s safe to make transactions. During the merge, we’ll post some updates from the Ethereum developers in the mining content box.

Will Ember support any new forked assets?

Currently, the Ember team has no plans to support any new forked assets or chains. Should any Ethereum forks occur after the merge, Ember will review the resulting assets and determine if trading will be supported on the Ember platform long-term, as we do with other assets.
