Satoshi Nakamoto is the name used by the anonymous person or persons who developed bitcoin, authored the bitcoin white paper, and mined the first block, also known as the Genesis block. Satoshi was involved with bitcoin developers until 2010, and hasn't been heard from since. It is estimated that Satoshi holds around 1 million bitcoin, still un-moved in his original wallet to this day.
