At a high level, liquidity mining is the process of putting your cryptocurrency in an AMM (Automated Market Maker), also known as a decentralized exchange. You can think of an AMM as a decentralized exchange like Uniswap. In exchange for providing your capital into the AMM for others to trade, you earn a portion of the exchange fees generated by that AMM.
